Privacy Policy

Last updated: 17 October 2026

This Privacy Policy explains what personal data Global Education Network (“GEN”, “we”, “us”) collects when you visit this website or contact us through it, why we collect it, who sees it and what rights you have. It is deliberately short and specific to what this website actually does.

1. Who is responsible for your data

Global Education Network
Commercial Licence No. 63521
Dubai Digital Park, Dubai Silicon Oasis, PO Box 342001, Dubai, United Arab Emirates
Email for privacy matters: hello@genglobaleducation.com

We are the data controller for the personal data described in this policy. We have not appointed a data protection officer; please send any question or request to the email address above.

2. What data we collect and why

Data you give us through the contact form

When you send us an enquiry, we ask for:

  • your name and the name of your company;
  • your email address and your country;
  • who you are: a founder or education business, an institution or clinic group, an investor, or other;
  • if you are a founder or education business, the number of students you train each year and the number of years you have been trading;
  • your enquiry;
  • your confirmation that you have read this policy and agree to be contacted about your enquiry.

Our form software also records, with each submission, the date and time, the page it was sent from, the IP address of your device and the type of browser and device you used. We use that only to handle your enquiry and to detect spam or misuse of the form.

We use what you send us to understand your enquiry, to reply to it and, where it leads to a conversation about working together, to prepare that relationship. We do not use it for marketing emails or newsletters: we do not send any.

Data collected automatically when you browse

Like any website, ours runs on servers that keep standard access logs: the IP address of your device, the pages you request, the date and time of each request and the type of browser you use. These logs are used to keep the website secure and running and to diagnose problems. They are not used to track you or to build a profile of you.

If you accept statistics cookies on the cookie banner, we use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use the website: which pages are visited, for how long, from which kind of device and roughly from which country. Google Analytics does not log or store full IP addresses, and we do not use it to identify you or to build a profile of you. If you reject those cookies, Google Analytics does not load at all. We do not use advertising or social media tools. See our Cookie Policy.

3. Legal bases

Where the applicable data protection law requires a legal basis, we rely on:

  • your consent, which you give by ticking the box on the contact form. You can withdraw it at any time by writing to us; this does not affect anything done before you withdrew it;
  • your consent on the cookie banner for statistics cookies (Google Analytics). You can withdraw it at any time with the “Manage consent” option on the website;
  • steps taken at your request before entering into a contract, when your enquiry concerns a possible investment in, or partnership with, GEN;
  • our legitimate interests in keeping the website secure, preventing spam and keeping a record of the conversations we have, where those interests are not overridden by your rights and interests.

4. Who receives your data

We do not sell personal data and we do not share it with anyone for their own marketing. The following providers process data on our behalf:

  • Website hosting: LucusHost (Spain, European Union). The website, its database, where form submissions are stored, and the server logs are held on servers in the European Union.
  • Email: each enquiry is also sent by email to our mailbox. The provider of that email service handles the message under its own data protection commitments.
  • Website statistics: Google Ireland Limited (Google Analytics), only if you accept statistics cookies.

Beyond this, we disclose personal data only if the law requires it or to establish, exercise or defend legal claims.

5. International transfers

GEN is based in the United Arab Emirates, so the personal data you send through this website is accessed by our team there, while the website itself is hosted in the European Union. For visitors in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland, this means your data may be transferred to a country that is not considered to offer the same level of protection as your own. Where that is the case, we rely on the fact that the transfer is necessary to respond to a request you have made to us and, where applicable, on the standard contractual clauses approved by the European Commission or the UK authorities. If you accept statistics cookies, the data collected by Google Analytics may be transferred to the United States; Google LLC is certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework and its UK and Swiss extensions. You can ask us for more information about these safeguards at the address above.

6. How long we keep your data

  • Enquiries: for as long as needed to deal with your request and for up to 24 months after our last exchange, unless the conversation leads to a business relationship, in which case the data is kept as part of the records of that relationship.
  • Server logs: kept by our hosting provider for a short, rolling period for security purposes and then deleted.
  • Your choice on the cookie banner: stored in your browser for 12 months.
  • Google Analytics: kept for the period set in our Google Analytics account and then deleted automatically by Google; its cookies expire after up to 2 years.

7. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you have rights over your personal data. To exercise any of them, write to hello@genglobaleducation.com. We will reply within the time the applicable law allows and may ask you to confirm your identity first.

European Economic Area, United Kingdom and Switzerland

Under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), the UK GDPR and Swiss data protection law you have the right to access your data, to have it corrected or erased, to restrict or object to its processing, to receive it in a portable format and to withdraw your consent. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority: in the United Kingdom, the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO); in the European Union, the data protection authority of the country where you live.

United Arab Emirates

Under Federal Decree-Law No. 45 of 2021 on the Protection of Personal Data you have the right to access, correct and erase your data, to restrict or object to its processing, to data portability and to withdraw your consent, and you may file a complaint with the UAE Data Office.

United States and Canada

Residents of certain US states and residents of Canada have rights under their local privacy laws (for example the California Consumer Privacy Act or Canada’s Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act), including the right to know what personal information we hold about you, to access and correct it and to ask for it to be deleted. We do not sell personal information and we do not share it for targeted advertising. Write to us to exercise these rights; we will not treat you differently for doing so.

8. Cookies

This website uses functional cookies to remember the choice you make on the cookie banner and, only if you accept them, Google Analytics statistics cookies. Our Cookie Policy lists them and explains how to change your choice.

9. Security

The website is served over an encrypted connection (HTTPS), access to its administration area is restricted, and the contact form is protected against automated spam. No system is completely secure, but we take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your data against unauthorised access, loss or disclosure.

10. Children

This website is intended for professionals, institutions and investors. It is not directed at anyone under 18 and we do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has sent us personal data, please contact us so that we can delete it.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy when the website or the law changes. The date at the top shows when it was last revised, and the version published on this page is the one that applies.
